I “Lava” You to the Top of O’Leary and Back!

I completed this hike with my sister and it wasn’t one of our favorites. I prefer a more rustic trail versus the dirt road that led up to the top of O’Leary.  That being said, the views from the top were absolutely stunning! Great view of the San Francisco peaks and a unique view of Sunset crater as well. We were able to  hang out at the top of the lookout tower for a while which is an absolute must! We were able to catch a glimpse of the canyon from there.  Other than the amazing views, the hike was relatively uneventful. Lots of bugs at the top, but no other wildlife that we spotted.
