I thought I was faster

This was my first time doin this hike in over a year. I thought it was actually closed due to the fires so I was excited to learn it was open. This isn’t a long hike but the last mile or so to the summit really kicks it into another gear. I’ve done this hike several times before so I knew that going in. I thought for sure I was moving at a pace that would put my previous PB to shame. I was surprised to learn I was over a half hour slower this go round. Yoinks!
