Ice cream at the top:)

Don’t know if counter clockwise or clockwise is better. Counter, you start in shade and pretty views with water streams and sources. Restrooms too. Once you come back down though you come back the burnt down part of the forest and the sun is now out… trail on that side is not as maintained either. Cafe opens at 10 up top. Took me 8 hrs, including stoping waterfall (not taking shortcuts) and 1hr rest at the cafe. Gate got opened at 5:20, cars already lined up. Once I parked and got ready to hit the trail around 5:40 cars swarmed the parking lot. Poison oak everywhere at least I think it was.
