The hike was absolutely beautiful with the frost and snow at mile 3.1.  Microspikes needed as the trail had a lot of ice and especially leading up to the peak.. the marvel of icicles falling from the trees and the tower.  Need to be cautious while under trees due to large icicles falling from 50 To 100 feet.. views were spectacular.  It made for an icicle wonder near the top especially on the towers.
