Last Tuesday (1/9) I was there, started at Azalea Glen, once got on the fire road, it’s too icy before summit and had to turn around. I came back today (1/12) with my microspikes this time, via Paso Pacacho, lots of snow before summit and falling icicles but made it to top safe and sound.

  1. Congrats on bagging the San Diego six-pack within 9 days. 9 days is the quickest I had seen.
Also, I like your hat, I might look into getting one of those.

January 2025 doesn’t compare well with January 2024.

January 2024 you dealt with snow, ice and cold.

January 2025 was warm and sunny at times felt like July, so I took advantage and just kept on going.

    1. You are awesome James!!! I saw your post on FB, you inspired me!!! When I saw you how fast you’re hiking at Villager to Rabbit, I knew that you can hike 3 or more peaks in a day just like that. ????????????????????????❤️????. Ohhh my 2nd time summiting Rabbit, I realized it wasn’t that bad afterall????????????. Hope to be like you someday ????????????
