If your going to do Mt Pinos you mine as well do 4 other peaks.

Drove up to the Mount Pinos Chula Vista parking area and started our hike. This was an up and down hike spanning 5 peaks over 3 saddles with a distance of 17 miles rt. We ended up bagging Mt Pinos, Sawmill Mountain, Sawmill Mountain West, Grouse Mountain, and Cerro Noroeste (Mt Abel). This is a great hike with amazing views and includes a Chumash Spirit Tower.
