Hubby is non hiker, he suggested we hike this beauty be suse we stare at in when sitting in our backyard with drinks.

Bout time we did, we’ve lived here for almost 4 years staring at this mountain… It was time.

Started about 9:45, drove up the dirt road to clearing and started just 5 miles s shy of peak. Many jeeps and off road vehicles, mountain bikers, and motorcrossers. Only a few hikers, my hubby and I being among the few. Lovely day, sunny but hazy. Couldn’t see the ocean, bu the views were spectacular the whole trip. Loved it and will do it again.

Nice challenging steady climb. Lots of shaded areas to rest. At the top, lots of mountain I’m rs and a few off road jeeps. Everyone was kind and shared the road, as it should be.
