In Remembrance of Sam Kim

On May 21, 2020, I was invited to a hike by my dear sister and her son.  We started early in the morning.  Nobody was on the trail but us.  We still kept our social distancing from each and more our face coverings.

There were a few patches of snow on the trail.  We took the route of the Ski Hut up to Mount Baldy.  I was very slow to reach the Peak.  Atop of Mount Baldy, it was very windy and cold.  We didn’t stay there for long.

This was a hike in honor of Mr. Sam Kim.  Every May, various collaborated to hike up to honor and celebrate Mr. Sam Kim’s Legacy.  However, due to the CoVid-19 pandemic crisis, many groups are cancelling their large group hikes.  I wanted normalcy in my life.  I wasn’t going to break my annual tradition.  So, I took a day off from work to do this Memorial hike for Mr. Sam Kim.
