Mt. Umunhum was a great way to kick of the Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge! The trail was dry and a but dusty – more dirt ended up in my trail shoes that I thought! There was a nice balance of shaded parts of the trail for a warm summer day. It was very encouraging to see that about 75% of hikers had masks.
I would certainly recommend this hike to friends and it was quite educational to read about the history of Mt. Umunhum along the way as well as at the top.
