Independence Day on top Black Crater

What a fantastic way to kick off the 4th of July!  The views were incredible and fascinating to see the regrowth beginning to happen from the fire a couple of years ago.  Had a fighter jet fly low overhead while at the top and tipped its wings at us!  Still a few snow fields and unfortunately people are cutting the trail around them.  Had a blast sliding down the big snow field on our bums… exhilarating (and scary) as you can really get some speed!
