Initiation Hike

This was maybe not the best first hike in the Superstition Mountains after flying into Phoenix, but after landing I hit the trail 2 hours later. The ascent is daunting, and feels like a never-ending Stairmaster, but the view from the top was absolutely worth it. Beware of the wet rock and loose gravel, take your time, watch your step and don’t grab the cactus when you stumble. Most of all, keep going.
