Insta rock (potato chip rock) to Mt Woodson peak

Nice cool day for perfect hiking weather. Started from lake poway parking lot around 11am was done round trip in about 3 hours.

Hiking up to the peak on this trail was actually really pretty. There was a decent amount of people which was expected but the lake views are pretty cool.

Once reaching the top it was everything i expected, long Disneyland ride lines to take a picture on the potato chip rock. Trash, radio towers , graffiti, and a bunch of people. However the views looking down on the city i grew up in was rememberable. Got some cool picture and headed back down.

Rounded up the six peak challenge with Mt. woodson wasn’t as bad as i assumed. I could see most of the peaks i climb over the year once i reached the top and it was rewarding.
