Hiked my 6th peak yesterday! Yahoo! Azalea loop is simply beautiful! The early part of the hike takes you through open meadows then by some babbling creeks, over some rocky terrain, up through the shadows of the forest and finally up to the top where big pines are returning. What a beautiful hike. Probably my favorite thus far.

There were rocky parts, overgrowth and poison oak (some was marked) you need to be watchful of.
