I’ve Heard the View from Maiden Peak is Amazing!

Today was my first time up Maiden Peak. I went solo from the Maiden Lake Trailhead. The forecast called for showers all day, but I didn’t get rained on at all.  I passed a group of 3 on my way up and a group of 4 on the way down.  The trail was easy to follow and beautiful!  As I approached the summit, I could tell the view was going to be obscured by fog, and it was. The wind was blowing pretty hard up there. I had no trouble finding the pile of rocks with the rusty junk on top that was mentioned in the description.  Happy to have another peak checked off my list!
