JMT Training: San Jacinto Trio

Early start to a grueling climb to the summit with @jacob-roper and other climbing partner (4,500 feet of elevation gain in 5 1/2 miles)….4AM pickup to the Palm Springs Tramway parking lot at 615AM…car shuttle to Marion Mountain Trailhead…on trail at 745AM…summit at 230PM.  Round Valley trail camp at 415PM.  Two significant water sources along MMT to the summit and water pipe at trail camp.  Next day…easy hike to Tramway Station for lunch and ride down.
