Embarked on our first of 6 Peak challenges today. Day trip to beat the heat of the Valley to Flagstaff! A beautiful day on the trail. 9.3 miles 2,693 ft elevation gain. Last time i was there it was Fall, it was fun to see it in the summer, wildflowers blooming and green. The storm clouds rolled in as we finished and got rained on some on the way to lunch/home. Peak 1 of 6 completed.
