Great first peak!

The puppy (all 19 months of her) and I arrived at the trailhead about 10:00. There were quite a few people so at first I thought maybe we should have chosen another trail as our maiden voyage on this fun endeavor, but we pressed on.

I am happy we did as the people started thinking out a few miles up the trail.

Overall it was a beautiful hike with flowers in full bloom. The views from the top were also amazing with the view over both Utah County and Utah Lake. There is also a creek for about a 1/3 of the hike so if you have dogs they will be in Nirvana.

Overall an excellent day and looking forward to the next.
