Kyhv Peak Labor Day Weekend

An early start rewarded with morning views over Provo/Orem and Lake Utah. Appropriate for the Labor Day Weekend there’d be an American flag flying at the summit. A good sustained grade all the way up on a clearly marked path. An OU professor of meteorology was on the summit before I arrived and I spent a good 30 minutes or so chatting with four BYU students as sunrise broke over the Valley. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable hike after the drama on Mount Nebo a few days earlier. Fantastic views up to Mount Timpanogos which I’ve decided to make my final fling. Kyhv Peak, another delightful Wasatch Mountain experience.
