Lake Havasu City Senior GMW Summit Camelback Mountain

The hike was beautiful in every aspect. Views were spectacular in every direction.  We enjoyed another beautiful December day with full sun, blue skies and a slight breeze.  We were very careful and went at a rather slow pace with eyes on our boot placement.  The trail was no doubt a challenge with the extreme steep, uphill rocky climb to the summit.  In miles, it was short, however, I do believe it was the steepest hike I have ever done.  Again we were treated with respect and kindness as many of the young hikers greeted us saying “Have a Great Hike Ladies”!!  It was so much fun to see the Christmas Tree at the summit and have our group picture with the tree.
