Like Edmund Hillary at Wasson

The sky was surprisingly overcast which made for a less sunny and less hot hike. And it did not rain despite the sky being overcast. There were few people out on the trail and the ones I met were either heading down or came from different trailheads. Due to technical issues with my phone camera there are no summit photos. I felt like Edmund Hillary on the first successful summit of Everest – made it up there but no summit photo. (Although in Hillary’s case, Tenzing revealed that Hillary declined to have his photo taken).  But it still was a summit and I signed the summit register.
