Log jump’n on Black Crater

Had a near perfect morning on Black Crater – smokeless, blue sky, wildflowers at upper section were going strong, and a breeze to help keep the warming temp manageable. Lots of downed trees remain on trail, but hiker work-arounds were very helpful. There were still a couple of snowy spots in upper section, but those will disappear very soon. Lots of pollinators (plus a hummingbird!)  today due to the wildflowers. Worked a bit harder due to getting up & over the logs, but that didn’t detract from the over-all experience.
