Long but worth the views!

Great trail and mostly free of bugs if you start before the day light hits. I started this hike around 5AM and was amazed by the fall colors combined with the sunrise. A bit long but a steady incline makes this hike very very doable. Do not stop at the fire lookout when you reach the top. Find your way to the actual summit where there is a case with the Summit Diary and ropes to climb the rock for the actual peak.

The views are much better at the fire lookout though.
