Long Day

Got to the parking about 7:00am and it was already full!  Fortunately didn’t have to park far up the street.  The kids (age 15 and 12) and I officially hit the trail at 7:20am.  Took our time, getting to Icehouse Saddle for a short break.  Then onward to the summit.  And there was quite the party going on at the top when we arrived, with many groups, large & small all hanging out and of course getting the obligatory pictures on the famous rock ledge.  Made it down in the half the time it took going up.  Back home to rest some tired feet!
