Long Road to Santiago

Well, we mis-judged this one. We didn’t read all the directions, we parked at the bottom not knowing you had to drive up the dirt road for about 5 miles to get to the saddle to start the hike.  Needless to say, we did 9 miles one way… but we made the peak.  Beautiful day, moderate traffic on two or four wheels.  The views were great.  Glad we stuck with it.
