I loved this hike, it’s a nice break from the super steep, crawling types of hike. Super gradual almost the entire way. Additionally, the view at the end is something to truly appreciate. While it is not like most hikes where you get to a hike point that has a definite ending, this hike has a view of all of my favorite peaks I’ve ever done (Grandeur, Mt Olympus, Lone Peak). And they look like little ant hills in the distance, it really allows you to put into scope how different a mountain can be from a distance.

The trail is pretty overgrown the first 2 miles of the hike so there is a little bit of bush whacking. Be careful as there is tall grass/bushes and the trail near those portions also has some rocks, you don’t want to break any ankles. I went hiking with a group of 6 people and we had a blast. Saw a lot of wildflowers and beautiful green everywhere surrounding us. There are these super cool horned toads all over this hike and they are adorable!

It’s not a hike I would purposefully go out of my way to do, but I am glad I did it and regret nothing. Thank you 6PackofPeaks for sending me on a beautiful adventure! One hike left before I complete my 6pack!
