5/28/2023. First time doing the 3-2-1 Challenge but have hiked Pinos & Sawmill every year since doing 6POP SoCal. Trail is in good condition. Walked over or around easily three snow patches on three different trail sections. Could be rated as moderately difficult because of the steep sections between Sawmill & Grouse and exposed areas of the trail. Met lovely & cheerful ladies…making the hike even more fun. Hope to see you again on the trail. Lovely day all in all! We camped the night before at Chula Vista Campground.
