Maiden Peak

Started the hike in a bit of a smoky haze. We weren’t sure if the smoke would get better or worse as we made our way to the summit.  Fortunately it improved as the hike went on.  We enjoyed the shade of the forest as we logged mile after mile. At the top, we could see the plumes of smoke from the Cedar Creek Fire and more haze. Not the greatest day for picture taking but had nice weather and pretty decent air quality. Felt good to complete the last peak of the challenge.
