Making it to the top – NOT Optional

The hike started off chill. It got very hot very quickly. I enjoyed that there were plenty of things to explore, like the old mines, the old rusted truck, and El Capitan Mt along the way. I kept myself motivated by drinking plenty of water at regular intervals and eating some delish snacks/sandwiches. It was definitely brutal and my knees were killing me at the end, but I felt very accomplished!
