May the Fourth Tackle the Bear.
Also on this hike
The weather was slightly overcast and perfect for a late morning start. The trail was in great condition, well marked, and minimal traffic, mostly descending hikers who started earlier in the morning. When I got to the last false summit, I needed to stop to refuel with snacks and water, then made the final push to the top.
At 64-years old, I’m happy to have made the summit to see the most breathtaking views of Sedona. The climb is worth the effort!
