Meetup.com expedition #2

Went with a hiking group. Great Fun! Apparently, there is snow sometimes in the month of February, unfortunately not this time.

The weather conditions change from the bottom to the top and back again. I started with a light jacket, gloves, and cap. Halfway changed to a bucket hat and short sleeve. Then up to the peak, the jacket went back on with the high winds.

The beginning of the trail has tree coverage but most is an open fire road.

It was a great experience up at the peak, panoramic views and supernatural winds makes you feel like Odin’s wild hunt is passing you by!
