Memorial Day hike on Marion Trail to San Jacinto

Slow and steady hike up the Marion Trail to San Jacinto Peak. This trail was lightly trafficked and in good condition. It was a beautiful, warm day. I didn’t make it up to the peak in time to witness it, but a couple were married at the peak. I hear that there were a lot of people and the champagne was flowing. By the time I got to the peak, the festivities were done. The original trail sign is missing, but someone made a replacement sign that is adequate.
