Mission Mission Peak

Started off early around 6 am to beat the sun from shining down on us. We chose the slightly more adventurous and less crowded route. While most of the hike is barren, there are magical regions of lush thickets, moist grass, a small waterfall and even a tiny lake! Seeing the clouds pass by at eye level like a veil was eye opening. The view of San Jose from the top was stunning while the climax was climbing the small metal monument for a pic!
