Hiked with a partner

It rained the previous day so a few miles of trail were muddy (however clay like consistency, not overly wet or slushy), trekking poles would’ve helped today. Partly cloudy but views of the bay remained unobstructed. Went out and back from the Stanford Ave trailhead via Hidden Valley trail; avoided looping back via Horse Heaven/Peak Meadow trails due to muddy conditions.
