Once again we had perfect weather for our hike. There was fog lower down the mountain so that we didn’t get to hot and it made for beautiful views once you got above the fog.
Going up horseshoe heaven trail is always a challenge when you get to the really steep part at about the two mile mark but it is worth it to avoid all the crowds on the main Stanford Ave trail.
We started early so that we could finish before it got to hot and then went for breakfast after
