Mission peak, more like mission impossible

This is one of the most popular hikes in the bay, and it shows. There’s almost no areas of the trail where you get a moment to yourself as you’ll be within a stones throw of others making the slow trudge up to the top.

It’s a great view, but be ready for some serious elevation gain as the whole hike is just up up up with minimal shade. Lots of sunscreen and water is a must, and I’d highly recommend doing it early as I was cooking by the end of it.
