Mission Peak Revisited !

Starting our hike at 6:44 AM, we were able to summit and return within 3 hours, enjoying a brisk and efficient trek. Took us little slower than our usual time as we were enjoying the freshness of the air around us. The Horse Trail was a fantastic choice, offering a more serene and scenic route compared to the main trail. Reaching the summit early felt incredibly rewarding as always, with the breathtaking views and iconic Mission Peak post as highlights of the journey. The summit offered panoramic views of the Bay Area, still wrapped in the morning calm.

A perfect way to kickstart the day and connect with nature!

The trail was in excellent shape, with a steady incline and some rocky sections near the summit. Starting early ensured cooler temperatures and peaceful surroundings. Weather was perfect !

Tips: Arrive early to get a parking spot as this place fills up quickly; even if morning bring plenty of water as the trail is exposed to Sun; sturdy hiking shoes recommended as this trail has few tough up hills apart from the rocky terrain near the summit.
