Mission Peak sunset hike!

I hiked with a hiking friend, we started at 6pm to avoid the high heat.  The sun was bright and shining and it was a bit hot but we were spf sun hats and lots of sunscreen!  We got to the peak at 8:30pm just in time before the sunset colors diminished. We attempted to stay up there a bit longer to try to catch the northern lights but started hiking back down by 9:30pm.  We made it back by 11pm so total time hiking was about 4 hours!
