Mission Peak Walk Up Run Down

Quick hike up and run down Mission Peak from Mission Peak Trailhead at Hidden Valley. It was hot for SF resident standards; can’t imagine doing this hike in the middle of Fremont summer. Took a solid break under each of the 2 or 3 groves of trees along the route. It didn’t get easy until the summit ridge. Lots of people at the top summiting from all directions. Walk up took about 1:20; 10 minutes at the summit; ran down in about 30 minutes. Saw cows. 6.25 miles and 1,939 feet in 02:03.
