Mission Steep

We started our challenge with what we thought would be a short and sweet hike to Mission Peak in Fremont, CA. Taking the Hidden Valley Trail to the peak and looping back down the Horse Heaven and Peak Meadow trails, we did not expect the dramatic incline and decline this short hike threw at us, but wow what amazing views!! Wide open trails, beautiful weather, and lots of happy cows made this a memorable hike and good challenge to start off our peak-climbing season.
