Moderately challenging

Remote, less crowded hike on the Los Cayotes Reservation, offers amazing views pretty much the whole time. Today we concentrated on various bird species and there were many along the way. Weather was warm, the occasional breezes were welcomed. Overall challenging hike, almost 10 miles, 4.5 hours left us feel accomplished. Good hiking shoes,  plenty water and sun protection is a must.
