Monadnock in May

I’ve hiked this mountain at least 10 times but this was my first time up the White Arrow trail and I was really surprised by the scramble at the top. I loved it!

Normally this is a really high traffic mountain, however, due to the pandemic, the park is limiting the number of people by giving out a small number of day parking passes at each trailhead. For the first time, the summit wasn’t mobbed with people and I only passed a few individuals or groups on the trail.

There were a couple of wet spots and a few bugs but nothing serious. The weather was perfect.
