Monte del Diablo

I got a late start (around 11am) but was able to reach the peak in roughly two hours. I entered the park from the South Gate entrance in Walnut Creek. The trail on this side of the park has very little shade and it definitely ended up being a hot fall day. Bring sunscreen! Overall it was a nice, moderately difficult day hike with some fun history and great views at the top.
