Morning Sunshine Glor-yesss

It truly was a magical and glorious morning. We started off very early in the dark (with headlamps) to hike this summit.  Weather was a very mild with a slight breeze and company excellent. This is a wonderful workout hike “think outdoor stairmaster” and IMO can be a little boring as you are just doing craggy switchbacks but with the burn.  But the early morning provided an exquisite sunrise filled with an array of color as the morning sun slowly rose as we continued our upward pursuit.  It was a bit windier during the hike and the layers we shed were quickly put back on at the top.

Shortly after we arrived at the summit, a man quickly almost galloping passed us with a large drum on his back and wood flutes and continued to make his way past us to a nearby solitude peak and began to celebrate and worship our Creator, energy and offer salutations prayers and worship for our all creation in the mist beautiful manner . It was absolutely wonderful. This definitely was one of my favorite times climbing this particular peak.
