Second time I’ve done Elden, but first time with some snow on trail up towards the top. Had micro spikes but didn’t use, trekking poles were very helpful though. Did get off trail couple of times due to snow but using Gaia app helped get me back on track. Beautiful day otherwise, mid 60’s with intermittent breeze. Even though I completed this hike I was a bit over ambitious choosing this as my first hike! Live and learn 😉
