Mount Bachelor

Parked On the road by sunrise lodge off hwy. started at bachelor trail head which is to the right of the chair lift. We took a bit of detour so we logged a few extra steps. Trail is well maintained & marked. It was a beautiful hike. I am not a winter sports person so I’ve never been on the mountain before. My hiking buddy goes often to board to she explained parts of the mountain to me as we climbed. There were several people climbing. Some with masks some without. But everyone was very respectful. It was a challenging hike. From car to mountain & back I logged 7.5 miles.
