The perfect day to hike Mount Baden-Powell. Sun was shining, not too windy at the top, lovely breeze every now and then, only a few fellow hikers along the trail, around 50 degrees when we started which proved to be perfect! The American flag is due to be replaced if a future hiker reads this and is able to bring one to the top and retire the ripped flag currently up there. (Some crazy grasshopper looking bugs sounded like they were zapping – maybe a Putnam’s cicada?)
