Mount Baden Powell

It was a good start, although GPS is telling us to reroute due to road closure. Good for us because the closure was just right after the TH parking and didn’t follow GPS ????

However, for the first in a long time, I never had altitude sickness but as soon as we reached the bench, almost a mile in, I started to feel very light headed and nauseous. Layed down for a bit until we continued on. It was a dragged but we still able to reach the peak in decent time.
The weather was gorgeous all the way.

I  think fall is the best time to summit. With the exception of a big group of hikers, the trail was not as busy than when we normally hike here. We thought that most challengers completed this peak early on.
