Mount Diablo Summit

Doing the trail clockwise was the best decision of the day. Going up, the trail is narrow in many parts but coming down it’s mostly wide enough for two vehicles. Uphill was challenging, and slippery in some spots due to unstable  rocks. Some of the downhill was very steep and precarious. It was great to get this part done and out of the way first. Downhill was super easy and the trail was consistent and easy. It was a clear day so we were able to see the ridgeline in Yosemite right above the clouds. I think I even saw Half Dome. The actual summit is in the Visitors Center.
