Mount Elden

Beautiful views and great workout! Started the hike at 6am and finished around 10am, with spending 45 minutes at the top. My watch logged the hike as being 6.4 miles with 2,371 feet in elevation gain. I’m glad I started early because this trail in completely in the sun and as I was getting back to the trail head a thunderstorm starting rolling in. I only saw two people on the way to the top and had the top completely to myself, but on the way down I did run into 10+ groups. This is hike is very close to main road so you can hear the noise throughout the hike, but it did not detract from the hike for me.
