I should have gone earlier in the day, but didn’t find the time. It had been a while since I’ve gone in the heat. I took a few short breaks. I have done this hike many being from Flagstaff. The heat definitely made it harder. I was windy at the top which it cooler. Hike in the heat and making it to the top definitely felt like an accomplishment.
